The | EYE

The third masterpiece of the collection titled Seduction by the artist Tiago Olliver is inspired by the eagle's power of vision and the immeasurable strength and capacity for renewal that the symbolism of this majestic bird conveys.  The artist uses an extraordinary language through several creative elements that sharpen the senses and elevate the emotions to the maximum degree stimulating feelings and interpretations on the part of its interlocutor.

Olliver's artistic identity is marked by his own technique of painting and melting a palette of vibrant colors, ranging from yellow to fluorescent orange in one aspect, where the depth created by the black oil paint that contours the precise shapes and strokes,  the protagonists of the sculpture, ornaments a mesmerizing progression of dimensions under a plexiglass acrylic plate enriched with a detailed application of Swarovisk crystals in two shades and in various sizes.  All this exuberance exalts the work as an authentic jewel, envelops the observers and provides an impactful experimentation of the power emanating the look of an eagle.

The mosaic made with diamond-shaped mother-of-pearl receives a luxurious application of geometric glass inserts in 24-carat gold, representing one of the most glorious and seductive colors of the universe, reminiscent of spiritual richness.  The fascinating gold glitter that resembles sunlight is intoxicating and gives a contemporary twist to the classic when it combines elements of fashion and design with the charm of craftsmanship.

Miniatures of hand-woven eyes in golden grass, sophisticated raw material produced by Brazilian northeastern artisans are crowned by Thai-style pearls that give the appearance of eyes and reproduce this powerful vision of this mystical animal.  The twelve feathers of golden hue arranged on the mosaic intuitively resemble the clockwork and recall the time of renewal experienced by the eagle.  The entire sculpture of The Eye was contoured in steel lacquered in golden tone to complement with splendor the experience revealed in this sculpture.

Through this sumptuous creation the artist Tiago Olliver evidences the potentiality of this Bird and extends the sovereignty that this masterpiece of 160 cm of double face diameter, which also allows the appreciation in orbital movement, has to offer to those who value the wisdom in  abundance.
